[How to Alkaline Your H2O]

• Add: one Key Lime into 1L filtered, distilled, fresh water, squeeze the juice into the water, don't add the entire lime.

• The pH of your water will change to an alkaline state, less acid, key limes are more alkaline in nature better for body.

• Store water: at room temperature for 24 hours store in fridge for up to 48 hours in store in glass bottles only.

[How to Ripen]

• Key Limes are Yellow when ripe, this rare citrus fruit is so mysterious and promotes good health. 

• When picked green, you can ripen by leaving out on kitchen counter for 48-72 hours or 24-48 hours in natural sunlight. 

• Turning from deep green to patching light green then a dark yellow, wheN sliced they are green inside, so amazing.

[How to Store]

• Key lime Green fruit storage best in lower section of your fridge for 4-8 weeks, they may ripen this way as well

• Key lime Yellow fruit storage best on counter for one week on in the fridge for 3 weeks.

• Freezing Key lime fruit method, slice into quarters place in glass container for 4 weeks.

• Key lime Ice Cubes are my favourite for summer, in a glass ice cube tray squeeze the juice of 7 key limes top with filtered water.

[How to grow & seed]

• Key lime Trees require a tropical environment to thrive (which can be created indoors for Canadians)

• Key lime seeds grow via soil-water-sun-natural stimulus. Place in damp paper towel, fold it up and place in the sunlight for 3-4 days, then transfer to soil.  I put my feeshly dried seeds directly i to the soil in sunlight and seedlings 1-2 weeks depending on the temperture.  Best at 80' F or above direct sunlight.
